This initiative aims to enhance transparency and efficiency in public transactions, including notarization, document verification, and business licensing. The system will utilize Polygon's Ethereum-compatible blockchain to reduce costs and improve processing speeds. DICT Secretary Ivan John Uy emphasized that this move aligns with the government's digital transformation goals, while Triple-A CEO Eric Barbier highlighted the potential for blockchain to combat fraud in bureaucratic processes. The pilot program is expected to launch in early 2024.
