Zama Secures $57M Series B to Enable Blockchain Encryption

最新报道：Zama, a Paris-based cryptography startup, has raised $73 million in a Series A funding round led by Multicoin Capital and Protocol Labs, with participation from Metaplanet, Blockchange Ventures, and others. The company specializes in fully homomorphic encryption (FHE) technology, which allows computations on encrypted data without decryption. Zama plans to use the funds to expand its open-source FHE tools for blockchain and AI applications, enabling privacy-preserving smart contracts and machine learning. The startup has already launched the fhEVM, an encrypted Ethereum Virtual Machine implementation, and is working with major blockchain protocols to integrate FHE solutions. This funding marks one of the largest investments in cryptographic infrastructure for Web3.
