币界网报道:Zama, a cryptography firm specializing in fully homomorphic encryption (FHE) for blockchain, has secured $57 million in a Series B funding round co-led by Blockchange Ventures and Pantera Capital, valuing the company at over $1 billion and making it the first FHE-focused unicorn. The funding, bringing total capital raised to over $150 million, will support Zama's mainnet launch, ecosystem expansion, and research. The company's protocol enables developers to build encrypted decentralized applications (dapps) without deep cryptographic expertise, with use cases including confidential stablecoin issuance, asset tokenization, and private identity verification. Blockchange Ventures' Ken Seiff called Zama's technology "foundational" for blockchain and cloud computing, comparing its potential impact to Ethereum's emergence in 2014. Zama previously raised $73 million in a Series A round led by Multicoin Capital and Protocol Labs.
