币界网报道:Ripple has integrated Wormhole’s cross-chain interoperability protocol into its XRP Ledger (XRPL) ecosystem, enabling seamless asset transfers across 35 different blockchains. The integration allows developers to bridge assets like Ethereum’s ERC-20 tokens, Solana’s SPL tokens, and others to XRPL, expanding DeFi and NFT use cases. Wormhole’s messaging layer will facilitate secure communication between chains, while Ripple’s native decentralized exchange (DEX) will support liquidity for bridged assets. The move aims to boost XRPL adoption by connecting it with major ecosystems like Ethereum, Solana, and Polygon. Ripple’s CTO David Schwartz highlighted the importance of interoperability in driving blockchain utility, calling it a "game-changer" for developers. Wormhole’s COO Dan Reecer noted the partnership aligns with their mission to unify fragmented liquidity. The integration follows Ripple’s recent acquisition of Metaco, signaling its push into multi-chain solutions.
