币界网报道：Ripple has partnered with cross-chain messaging protocol Wormhole to enhance XRP Ledger's (XRPL) multichain capabilities, enabling seamless interoperability across over 30 blockchain networks. The collaboration will integrate Wormhole's native token transfers and generic messaging into XRPL, allowing developers to build decentralized applications (dApps) that leverage assets and data from Ethereum, Solana, and other major chains. Ripple's President Monica Long emphasized the move aligns with the company's vision to expand XRPL's utility beyond payments, while Wormhole's CEO Saeed Badreg highlighted the partnership's potential to unlock liquidity and innovation. The integration is expected to go live later this year, following technical evaluations. This marks Ripple's latest effort to position XRPL as a hub for multichain DeFi, following previous bridges to Ethereum and Cosmos.
