币界网报道：Ripple has partnered with cross-chain messaging protocol Wormhole to enhance interoperability for the XRP Ledger (XRPL), enabling developers to access liquidity and users across over 30 blockchains. The integration allows XRPL-based assets to move seamlessly between networks via Wormhole’s messaging layer, which supports Ethereum, Solana, and other major chains. Ripple’s President Monica Long emphasized the collaboration’s role in expanding XRPL’s utility, while Wormhole’s Head of Business Development Dan Reecer highlighted the potential for increased adoption of decentralized applications (dApps) on XRPL. The partnership follows Ripple’s recent acquisition of custody firm Metaco and aligns with its broader strategy to strengthen XRPL’s DeFi ecosystem. Wormhole, which recently secured $225 million in funding, will also integrate its native token (W) into XRPL, further boosting cross-chain activity.
