最新报道:According to Bijie.com, POP Culture Group (CPOP) is the latest entertainment company to launch a strategic Bitcoin reserve. According to an announcement released Wednesday, the company has completed its first purchase of 300 BTC, valued at approximately $33 million. This is the first step in the Xiamen, China-based company's attempt to create a "diversified cryptocurrency fund pool" that will include assets such as BTC, ETH, and an alternative coin called BOT. According to a statement, the company will consider four key criteria when determining whether to invest in a token, including "high investment value and growth potential" and strategic corporate alliances. It will also consider "promising cryptocurrencies in the Web3 pan-entertainment space" and projects managed by "high-quality artists." "Our strategic cryptocurrency investment marks the beginning of our vision to build not only a pan-entertainment platform, but also a global Web3 pan-entertainment super ecosystem," said Huang Zhuoqin, CEO of POP Culture Group, in a statement. "Entertainment will transform from a one-time emotional experience into a sustainable, value-added digital asset." According to a statement, Pop Culture Group Co., Ltd. is a company "focused on the industrialization of Chinese pop culture." The company is far from the only entertainment-related entity to take steps to establish a digital asset reserve. Notably, the Justin Sun-backed TRX Treasury, now called Tron Inc., was formed through a merger with Nasdaq-listed toy and plush manufacturer SRM Entertainment. CPOP opened at $2.11, up over 40% from Tuesday's close of $1.36. However, according to Google Finance data, the token has since retreated to around $1.36. That said, the stock has risen over 55% over the past month.
