Fintech firm Farmway inks $100 million deal to tokenize Georgia almond orchards

最新报道：According to Bijie.com, US-based Farmway Technologies has reached a $100 million agreement with Georgia to tokenize 500 hectares of almond orchards and invest in agricultural infrastructure. Georgia's almond production is projected to increase from 2,500 tons in 2023 to 14,000 tons in 2027, placing it among the top 20 globally. Farmway will tokenize orchards and processing facilities using the ERC-20 and ERC-1155 standards, with each token representing a fraction of the asset's equity. This initiative aims to improve the efficiency and liquidity of agricultural investment, replacing traditional, slow-moving climate finance models.
