最新报道:Coinbase announced Tuesday that it will launch futures trading on an index that combines exposure to top stocks and cryptocurrency-based ETFs. "For the first time, we are diversifying our US derivatives platform beyond single-asset offerings to launch a new equity index product," the company said in a statement. The new product, called Mag7+ Crypto Equity Index Futures, gives traders the opportunity to trade an index that combines top tech stocks with BlackRock's spot Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs. In addition to the two ETFs, the index includes balanced exposure to Coinbase's own stock as well as Apple, Microsoft, Google's parent company Alphabet, Amazon, Nvidia, Meta, and Tesla. Coinbase stated that the index will follow an evenly weighted methodology, with each of the 10 constituent stocks representing 10% of the index. The cryptocurrency exchange's move to increase trading activity comes after it reported a decline in both spot trading volume and revenue in the second quarter. Coinbase has stated that it is considering expanding into prediction markets and has launched a decentralized exchange (DEX) integration, allowing traders to buy and sell digital assets previously unavailable on the company's platform. Coinbase hopes to entice users to try earning returns by trading products tied to publicly traded companies, part of a growing trend across the digital asset industry aimed at engaging with traditional finance and investors by tokenizing stocks or converting public companies into cryptocurrency vaults. Trading on Coinbase's Mag7+ Crypto Equity Index Futures will begin on September 22nd.
