币界网报道:Coinbase has introduced perpetual-style futures contracts for Bitcoin and Ethereum on its international exchange, expanding its derivatives offerings. The new contracts, available to eligible non-U.S. customers, allow traders to speculate on crypto prices without expiration dates, using up to 5x leverage. This move positions Coinbase to compete with rivals like Binance and Bybit in the growing crypto derivatives market. The exchange plans to add similar products for other major cryptocurrencies in the coming months. Coinbase International Exchange, launched earlier this year, focuses on serving institutional clients outside the U.S. with regulated crypto derivatives products. The platform currently supports perpetual futures in USD, USDC, and USDT denominations. This expansion comes as global crypto derivatives trading volumes have surged, reaching $2.3 trillion in October according to CCData.
