Prosecutors allege that Antropenko deployed the Zeppelin ransomware, targeting individuals, businesses, and organizations worldwide by encrypting and extorting data. The case was one of six federal search warrants issued by the U.S. Department of Justice in state courts in Virginia, California, and Texas.
