币界网报道：Texas Senate Bill SB1498 automatically took effect on June 20, 2025, and will be officially implemented on September 1. The bill authorizes the state government to confiscate digital assets related to certain criminal offenses, including cryptocurrencies, stablecoins, and NFTs, and include them in the civil asset forfeiture system. In addition, the bill also expands the definition of "proceeds" to cover the increase in value of assets from the time they are acquired to the time they are confiscated, and stipulates that all confiscated assets must be transferred to an offline secure wallet supervised by law enforcement agencies or state prosecutors.
