最新报道：According to CNN, the Texas House of Representatives today passed a motion authorizing the Speaker to issue civil arrest warrants for Democratic lawmakers who fail to attend a special session. Dozens of Democratic lawmakers left Texas en masse yesterday in an attempt to block the congressional redistricting plan. The motion specifically authorizes "the House Sergeant or his designated officer to retrieve any unauthorized absences from the session so that, if necessary, they can secure their attendance under a warrant." The motion passed with 85 votes in favor and 6 against, with Speaker Dustin Burrows announcing the result. As of press time, the Texas governor has already ordered the arrest of Democrats who have fled the state.
