最新报道:According to Bijie.com, the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) posted on its Facebook page that it has noticed a promotional flyer circulating regarding the sale of stablecoins using the HKMA's logo. The HKMA clarified that it has not issued any such promotional flyer. The HKMA stated that currently, only approved providers can legally offer fiat stablecoins. Approved providers are limited to: licensed stablecoin issuers; corporations licensed by the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) to conduct Type 1 regulated activities; virtual asset trading platforms licensed by the SFC; banks; and licensed stored value facility (SVF) providers. Non-approved providers are prohibited from offering stablecoins (regardless of whether the stablecoin is regulated) to retail or professional investors. Virtual asset over-the-counter (OTC) trading firms are not currently considered approved providers under the Regulations.
