最新报道：According to Bijie.com, senior EU trade officials explained the recent tariff agreement signed between the US and EU on the 5th local time. According to reports, under the newly reached framework trade agreement, the US has decided to impose a uniform tariff rate of 15.00% on most EU exports, including the applicable rate for goods under most-favored-nation status. EU exporters no longer need to deal with separate tariff rates for different product categories; all relevant products will be subject to the same standard. The EU also emphasized that while the formal terms are still being worked out, the framework agreement has already provided "immediate relief" for both sides. It will take some time for the EU to fully finalize the list of essential products exempt from US tariffs. It is understood that the EU and EU have not yet reached a consensus on when to issue a joint statement on the trade agreement, and the joint statement issued under the framework of the EU-EU trade agreement is not legally binding.
