Call of Duty Faces 86% Player Decline Ahead of Black Ops 7 Reveal
-
最新报道："Call of Duty" faces an 86% player decline on Steam following the reveal of "Black Ops 7," as reported by Activision Blizzard. The franchise, which previously peaked at over 90,000 concurrent players, now struggles to maintain 12,000. Industry analysts attribute the drop to franchise fatigue and mixed reactions to the latest installment's trailer. Activision has yet to comment on the player count but emphasizes ongoing updates and esports investments to revive engagement. The decline raises questions about the sustainability of annual AAA game releases in the competitive FPS market.
