最新报道：According to Bijie.com, Bill Pulte, director of the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) and a staunch Trump ally, urged Attorney General Pam Bondi to investigate two mortgage transactions involving Federal Reserve Governor Tim Cook. In a letter dated August 15th, Pulte wrote to Bondi and Justice Department official Ed Martin, alleging that Cook "falsified bank documents and property records to obtain more favorable loan terms, potentially constituting mortgage fraud under criminal law." He stated that Cook purchased and secured a mortgage on a property in Ann Arbor, Michigan, promising to use it as a primary residence for at least a year. Two weeks later, he secured another mortgage in Georgia, also stating that it would be a primary residence. Pulte also cited four criminal code provisions and recommended that Bondi investigate potential offenses. No charges have been filed, and it's unclear whether Bondi will launch an investigation.
