最新报道:According to Bijie.com, Solana co-founder Anatoly "Toly" Yakovenko has called for penalties against Solana validators who delay time slots, steal rewards, and slow the network. Yakovenko's call for penalties stems from his frustration with validators using complex delay strategies to extract extra fees and high-value transactions. Intentionally delayed time slots have become so annoying that one validator has created a dashboard showcasing the issue. Since August 5th, Solana epoch 829, average time slots have increased by 2.5%. Some have complained that "the price of Solana should be rising, not block times." One observer has questioned whether these delays could trigger a 2.0 scenario similar to the Intentional Leader Reward (ILRB) Boost, a timing strategy used by some validators to intentionally delay block production. Extending slot times beyond Solana's intended 400 milliseconds would intentionally delay validators and allow them to unfairly include more transactions in their blocks, thereby earning higher fees or rewards. Yakovenko has suggested "dropping these blocks by default for 10 slots" as a penalty for slow but influential validators. He has also repeatedly called for financial penalties for misbehaving validators. Solana developer shop Anza has proposed a series of proposals to implement a slashing mechanism in the network, punishing validators by deducting their stake, but this would also pose risks to SOL stakers.
