最新报道：According to Dlnews, on July 10, the crypto project World (formerly Worldcoin), founded by OpenAI CEO Sam Altman, has suspended its iris scanning business in Germany. The company's website shows that the "Orbs" scanning site in Germany will "return soon", while a spokesperson confirmed to DL News that the company is updating the scanning station and plans to open a flagship store in Munich. World is currently in a legal dispute with the Bavarian State Data Protection Office. The agency ruled in December 2024 that World violated European GDPR regulations and required the deletion of the collected iris codes. World has appealed and adjusted its data processing methods to encrypt user iris data and store it on multiple servers.
