The system uses UPI Reserve Pay and UPI Circle protocols, allowing transactions without switching apps, with initial merchant partners including Bigbasket and Vi. Razorpay developed the merchant integration layer while Axis Bank and Airtel Payments Bank power the banking infrastructure, with broader rollout expected in coming months as AI companies expand their footprint in India's rapidly growing digital economy.
