Joe Lubin confirms SWIFT is using Linea to build its new payments system

最新报道：According to Bijie.com, SWIFT has confirmed that it will build a blockchain payment and settlement platform based on Linea, an Ethereum Layer 2 network. ConsenSys CEO Joe Lubin revealed this at the Token2049 conference in Singapore. Developed in collaboration with SWIFT, ConsenSys, and over 30 traditional financial institutions, the system aims to enable 24/7 real-time crypto payments, challenging existing solutions like Ripple's XRP Ledger. Linea processes 1.5 transactions per second, offers fees 1/15th of Ethereum's, and has a total locked-in value of $2.27 billion.
