最新报道:According to Bijie.com and ME, on September 26 (UTC+8), US President Trump signed an executive order approving the proposed sale of TikTok's US operations. Vice President J.D. Vance stated that the transaction values TikTok's US operations at approximately $14 billion. According to the executive order, the transaction satisfies the requirements of national security law, requiring the Chinese company ByteDance to sell TikTok's US operations or face a ban. Under the terms (which still require Chinese approval), TikTok's US operations will be managed by a new joint venture, with ByteDance holding less than 20%. Oracle, Silver Lake, and the Abu Dhabi-based MGX investment fund will jointly hold approximately 45%, while ByteDance investors and new shareholders will hold approximately 35%. ByteDance investors such as General Atlantic, Susquehanna, and Sequoia are expected to invest in the new TikTok US company. Oracle will also be responsible for security operations and cloud computing services for the US operations. The transaction is expected to be finalized before the end of the year. Notably, no ByteDance representatives were present at the signing ceremony, the acquisition price was not disclosed, and the company has not confirmed that a transaction is ongoing. The Chinese government has also not made it clear whether it will amend relevant laws to facilitate the transaction.
