UAE signs crypto tax filing agreement and launches industry consultation

最新报道：According to Bijie.com, the UAE Ministry of Finance signed the Multilateral Competent Authority Agreement (MCA) for the Crypto-Assets Reporting Framework (CARF) on Sunday, having previously announced plans for the framework in November 2024. The agreement will begin implementation in 2027, with the first international tax information exchange expected in 2028. The Ministry of Finance also launched an eight-week public consultation on September 15, inviting all crypto industry stakeholders to provide feedback on potential impacts and compliance requirements.
