最新报道:According to Bijie.com, Mizuho analysts say that bank processors, consumer lenders, and exchanges are the fintech companies that stand to benefit most from the U.S. Federal Reserve's latest interest rate cut, while Circle and its USDC stablecoin may face headwinds. The Fed cut interest rates by 25 basis points to a range of 4% to 4.25% and hinted at two more rate cuts before the end of the year. Lower interest rates make traditional investments less attractive, which often leads investors to seek higher returns in alternative assets such as cryptocurrencies. Following the rate cut, most major cryptocurrencies rose by approximately 2%. Mizuho conducted a quantitative analysis of over 13 different fundamental and macroeconomic data items (ranging from payrolls to interest rate spreads) over 20 years to determine the winners and losers. Analysts suggest that both cryptocurrencies and stock exchanges should benefit. "These firms rely on trading commissions (estimated at 50%-70%). Historically, trading activity (a proxy for commissions) tends to rise when interest rates are low," Mizuho analyst Dan Dolev wrote in a note to clients Thursday, highlighting Robinhood Markets (HOOD), Coinbase Global (COIN), and eToro (ETOR). Bank processors and lenders that rely on trading account growth should also see tailwinds from falling interest rates. "This is primarily driven by changes in trading account funding, which tend to grow faster in a lower interest rate regime," Dolev said. On the other hand, stablecoin issuers like Circle Internet Group (CRCL), which derive 100% of their revenue from yields on assets like U.S. Treasuries, may be most adversely impacted. RedStone co-founder Marcin Kazmierczak said lower traditional yields are making protocols offering 5%-10% APY increasingly attractive, which could accelerate TVL growth on lending platforms and drive demand for stablecoins as users seek yield-optimizing strategies. Mizuho analysts maintained a "neutral" rating on COIN stock and raised their price target from $267 to $300. The firm gave HOOD and eToro "outperform" ratings, while CRCL gave a bearish "underperform" rating with a price target of $84. The firm has been slightly bearish on Circle since shortly after its explosive IPO in June. Price data from The Block shows that Robinhood and eToro shares rose 3% today, while Coinbase stock soared 8%. Circle's stock was up approximately 5.8% at the time of publication.
