最新报道:According to Bijie.com, a U.S. federal district court judge on Monday dismissed a lawsuit filed by environmental groups. The lawsuit challenged the Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) 2022 approval for Elon Musk's SpaceX to expand rocket launch operations near a national wildlife refuge in southern Texas. The groups argued that noise, light pollution, construction, and road traffic would also damage the area's environment. The area is home to endangered ocelots and jaguars, as well as a nesting ground for the endangered Kemp's ridley sea turtle and threatened shorebirds. U.S. District Judge Carl Nichols in Washington said the FAA had fulfilled its obligation to "carefully examine the impacts of light exposure on nearby wildlife."
