最新报道:According to a report from Bijie.com, virtual asset trading and brokerage businesses will be removed from the list of restricted venture capital industries. South Korea's Ministry of Small and Medium Enterprises and Startups (SMES) announced on the 9th that a cabinet meeting held at the Yongsan Presidential Palace reviewed and approved a partial amendment to the "Enforcement Decree of the Special Act on the Cultivation of Venture Capital Firms," including the aforementioned content. The amendment will officially take effect on the 16th. The SMES explained that the revision was made in light of factors such as the changing global status of the virtual asset industry and the strengthening of South Korea's user protection system. It aims to lay the foundation for the formal development of core deep tech industries within the digital asset ecosystem, including blockchain and cryptocurrencies. The SMES also noted that globally, the US's approval of a Bitcoin spot exchange-traded fund (ETF) in January of last year and the implementation of comprehensive stablecoin regulations in July of the same year demonstrate a growing trend toward recognizing virtual assets as a formal industry.
