最新报道:According to a report from the Korea Herald, fanC, a South Korean digital token developer and issuer, has partnered with local financial software company Initech to test a South Korean won-backed stablecoin called KRWIN, pegged one-to-one to the won. This marks the first time a private entity has issued a won-backed digital asset with potential for real-economy application. fanC stated that the launch is a demonstration version designed to test KRWIN's technical feasibility, including its transferability and practical applications. Distribution will be limited to selected internal members and partner platforms for evaluation. Once officially launched, KRWIN is expected to be used in payment, global remittances, tourism, and other fields. Last month, fanC submitted a trademark application for KRWIN and its related technology to the Korean Intellectual Property Office.
