最新报道:According to a report from Coinnet, the prediction market PredictIt, originally an academic platform focused on political forecasting, is preparing to launch a new exchange after receiving approval from the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). Aristotle, the Washington, D.C.-based company that operates PredictIt, announced last week that the CFTC had approved its application to operate as a Designated Contract Market (DCM) and Derivatives Clearing Organization (DCO). The company stated in a press release last week that "with these approvals, Aristotle will launch a new exchange designed to provide more diverse markets, deeper liquidity, and broader participation for U.S. traders." The company plans to expand beyond political markets but has not yet provided details on the specific types of markets it plans to launch. An Aristotle spokesperson stated, "Market offerings will be expanded like other DCMs," referring to other regulated prediction markets such as Kalshi. "We do not plan to release any other specific details at this time."
