最新报道:According to Cryptonews, citing Russian media outlets RBC and Interfax, Alexey Yakovlev, Director of the Russian Ministry of Finance's Financial Policy Department, announced plans to lower the threshold for qualifying as a "specially qualified" investor to expand the scope of participants in organized cryptocurrency trading under the central bank's "Experimental Legal Regime" (ELR). In March of this year, the Central Bank of Russia proposed a three-year pilot program open only to "specially qualified" investors. The current criteria are holding securities and deposits totaling 100 million rubles (approximately $1.2316 million) or having income of 50 million rubles (approximately $615,800) or more in the previous year. The specific reduction in the threshold has not been disclosed, but the goal is to increase accessibility while ensuring manageable risks.
