最新报道:Polymarket, a cryptocurrency-based prediction market platform that rose to prominence during the 2024 presidential election, has been granted entry into the United States. The Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC)'s Division of Market Regulation and Division of Clearing and Risk announced Wednesday that they had taken a no-action position regarding swap data reporting and recordkeeping regulations for event contracts in response to a request from designated contract market (DCM) QCX and derivatives clearing organization (DCO) QC Clearing. The statement stated that the no-action letter applied to "narrow circumstances" and was comparable to no-action letters issued by other DCMs and DCOs in similar situations. Following the dismissal of a federal investigation earlier this summer, Polymarket announced in July that it planned to re-enter the United States by acquiring derivatives exchange QCEX. The statement reads: "The Departments will not recommend that the CFTC bring enforcement actions against any party or its participants for failing to comply with certain swaps-related recordkeeping requirements and for failing to report data to the swaps data repository related to binary options trades and variable payout contracts trades executed under the rules of QCX LLC and cleared through QC Clearing LLC, subject to the terms of the no-action letter." Polymarket CEO Shane Coplan wrote in a post on X: "Polymarket has received approval from the @CFTC to launch in the US. Thank you to the Commission and staff for their outstanding work. This process was completed in record time. Stay tuned." Donald Trump Jr. invested in Polymarket last month and joined its advisory board. In June, Elon Musk's X said it was "joining forces" with the prediction platform. The number of new markets on Polymarket surged in July, exceeding 11,500, a 44% increase from the previous month, although still far from the peak in January.
