最新报道:According to Bijie.com, on August 29th, Federal Housing Finance Agency Director Pulte filed another criminal complaint with the Department of Justice regarding a third property owned by Federal Reserve Governor Tim Cook in Massachusetts. The complaint alleges that Cook had a $361,000 mortgage on a Massachusetts apartment, which she claimed was a second home. Eight months later, Cook claimed to have received between $15,000 and $50,000 in rental income and listed it as an investment property. Cook may be guilty of reverse occupancy fraud, a practice in which a borrower purchases a property as an investment but initially falsely claims it is a primary or second home to obtain a lower interest rate or more lenient loan terms. The borrower may then adjust the property's use by claiming rental income, thereby qualifying it as an investment property. Bijie.com previously reported that a hearing before the judge in the case involving Federal Reserve Governor Cook is scheduled for Friday.
