The voting period is between Epochs 840 and 842 (currently 840, with each Epoch lasting approximately two days). The voting rule requires a two-thirds majority of votes (yes + no) for a proposal to pass. The current voting participation rate is approximately 9.87%, with approximately 9.76% of the votes in favor. Alpenglow aims to reduce block finality time from 12.8s to nearly 150ms.
