Sequans Communications Aims to Raise $200M to Further Bitcoin Strategy

The Paris-based semiconductor firm, which already holds over 3,000 BTC worth approximately $331 million, aims to accumulate 100,000 Bitcoin by 2030. The move follows a recent $189 million financing round, bringing total recent funding to around $376 million. Analysts note that while the strategy ties the company’s valuation more directly to Bitcoin’s volatility, it represents leveraged exposure rather than speculative betting, dependent on disciplined execution and risk management during market downturns.
