(NYSE: SQNS), a developer and supplier of 5G/4G IoT semiconductors and modules, announced today that it will launch a Bitcoin Treasury Plan, marking its strategic expansion beyond its core cellular IoT semiconductor business. To advance the plan, the company has reached an agreement to issue and sell approximately US$195 million in equity securities and US$189 million in principal convertible secured bonds through private placement, with a total financing scale of approximately US$384 million.
