This vulnerability, located in the ImageIO framework, allows attackers to trigger memory corruption via malicious images and has been exploited in sophisticated attacks targeting specific individuals. Affected systems include iOS, iPadOS, and macOS. The patched versions are: iOS/iPadOS 18.6.2, iPadOS 17.7.10; macOS Ventura 13.7.8, Sonoma 14.7.8, and Sequoia 15.6.1. Since the beginning of the year, Apple has patched seven zero-day vulnerabilities that have been exploited in real-world attacks.
