Judge Ronald Griffin stated that the plaintiffs failed to adequately prove a connection between Paul and the loss of funds. Griffin recommended allowing the plaintiffs to amend all 27 counts, except for the allegation of commodity pool fraud. The class-action lawsuit, filed in February 2023, alleges that CryptoZoo was a "failed" scheme that failed to deliver on its promises.
