Hines stated that he has received over 50 job offers and is seriously considering five of them, all in the cryptocurrency sector. He currently has no plans to return to politics. While in the White House, Hines oversaw a series of accomplishments, including signing a stablecoin bill and a series of blockchain-related executive orders. He acknowledged that his work is not yet finished. Congress is still debating a wide-ranging piece of legislation that would further regulate the operations of the cryptocurrency market. (He declined to comment on the likelihood of the bill's passage, stating that he believes "they will get it done.") Patrick Witt, who served as Hines' deputy in the White House, is now taking over his position.
