Despite Ripple's claim that after years of construction and testing, the mainnet will usher in a "new era of cross-chain DeFi," the network currently holds less than $100,000 in total value locked (TVL), with only four protocols of note. The most popular application processed less than $1,100 in transactions over the past week. As of yesterday, Moai Finance, a "strategically positioned" decentralized exchange on the network, had only $26 in trading volume in the previous 24 hours.
