Performance: By Q4 2025, throughput will increase to 0.5 gGas/s (approximately 5,000 TPS), supporting pre-confirmed transactions (confirmed within 250 milliseconds); cross-chain and CEX deposit and withdrawal times will be reduced to approximately 15 minutes by Q1 2026; Ethereum alignment: A burn mechanism will be introduced in Q3 (20% ETH fees burned, 80% repurchased and destroyed for LINEA), and Type-1 zkEVM will be implemented in Q1 2026, achieving full Ethereum-like storage structure and simplifying development and integration. Trust minimization: Stage-1 will be achieved in Q4, enabling secure transactions and withdrawals even in the event of operator failures or censorship; a multi-proof system will be introduced in Q1 2026 to enhance security; and Capital efficiency: Native Yield will be launched in Q4, allowing ETH deposits to generate staking returns distributed to DeFi liquidity providers.
