最新报道:According to Bijie.com, Linea, the Ethereum layer-2 network founded by blockchain software technology company Consensys, has announced plans to introduce native yields on bridged ETH, a protocol-level ETH burn mechanism, a deflationary Ethereum-centric token design, and the establishment of an Ethereum Ecosystem Fund, ahead of the highly anticipated launch of the LINEA token. According to a statement shared with The Block, designed to "establish the network as a home for ETH capital," native ETH staking on bridged ETH is expected to launch in October, with rewards reinvested in the Linea ecosystem. Approximately 20% of all Linea net transaction fees (paid in ETH) will also be burned, reducing ETH supply and supporting the appreciation of Ethereum's layer-1 value—making it the first layer-2 network to commit to protocol-level ETH destruction, the team stated. The remaining 80% of net transaction fees will be used to burn LINEA tokens, reducing the fixed supply and making the token deflationary based on network activity. Additionally, 85% of the token supply will be allocated to the ecosystem, with 10% reserved for early adopters and 75% distributed gradually through the Ecosystem Fund. The remaining 15% of the LINEA supply will be held in the Consensys Treasury under a five-year lockup. The Ecosystem Fund will be managed by the Linea Alliance, comprised of leading Ethereum organizations including Consensys, Eigen Labs, ENS Labs, Status, and SharpLink, with more organizations to be announced later. Ethereum co-founder and Consensys CEO Joseph Lubin is also chairman of SharpLink, a subsidiary marketing and gaming software company that has transitioned to an Ethereum treasury. According to Arkham data, the Nasdaq-listed company (ticker symbol SBET) currently holds approximately 438,017 ETH, valued at $1.70 billion at current market prices. Consensys led SharpLink's $425 million private placement in June. Joseph Chalom, co-CEO of SharpLink, said in the release: "Institutions value platform stability and are always building for the long term. Linea's commitment to Ethereum couldn't be clearer, and we believe the platform's unique integration with Ethereum will make it an important part of its future. We are very excited to be working with ecosystem managers to advance the development of new programs to achieve this goal." The consortium will oversee the fund for at least ten years. Launched on Wednesday, Ethereum's 10th anniversary, it will help support the next generation of applications and technologies. Members will select, design, and manage programs that allocate resources to users, builders, liquidity providers, public goods, and R&D. The fund's goal is to ensure long-term, mission-aligned investment in Ethereum's growth and innovation. Lubin added, "We are witnessing an architectural reset in global finance, one in which trusted, neutral, decentralized, programmable infrastructure becomes essential for value, identity, and coordination to operate across borders and institutions. Ethereum is becoming the trusted foundation for this new economic architecture. Linea is the only fully Ethereum-compatible Layer 2, and we want the economics to align with and support the technology. We are building for the long term, creating infrastructure that institutions can trust and easily collaborate with, and that the extended Ethereum community can own." While a launch date for the LINEA token has not yet been announced, it is expected to go live soon. The upcoming token is designed to mirror Ethereum's original distribution model while building on ETH's core utility. With an ecosystem- and builder-focused distribution, the Linea token also aims to strengthen Ethereum's consistency and "help set a new standard for other projects," according to the team. “We’ve taken the time to listen to the community and designed an approach that leverages our unique strengths and reflects the core principles of Ethereum,” said Declan Fox, Head of Linea. “We hope to set an example for how Layer 2s should be built and brought to market, and do so in a way that directly contributes to the strength and success of Ethereum and ETH.”
