最新报道:According to Coinnet, VivoPower International PLC announced today that it will acquire shares in Ripple Labs as part of its digital asset fund management strategy focused on XRP. Following two months of due diligence, VivoPower has announced plans to purchase $100 million worth of privately held Ripple shares. This involves entering into a definitive agreement directly with existing Ripple shareholders and is subject to final approval by Ripple's senior management. In addition to these transactions, VivoPower will continue to directly acquire and hold XRP tokens. Ripple minted a fixed quantity of 100 billion XRP tokens at its inception. With approximately 14 million XRP tokens destroyed to date, the network is currently in a state of mild deflation. Ripple continues to hold 41 billion XRP tokens, primarily in custodial custody. Ripple also operates various businesses, including its stablecoin RLUSD; digital asset prime brokers HiddenRoad, MetaCo, and Standard Custody and Trust Company; and the recently acquired stablecoin payment platform, Rail. This strategy is designed to achieve an acquisition cost per XRP token significantly below the market price of XRP, calculated on a weighted average basis. For every $10 million of XRP acquired, VivoPower shareholders are expected to receive $5.15 in accretive value per share (this accretive value is based on factors such as VVPR, the current market price of XRP, and the weighted average acquisition price of XRP, all of which are subject to fluctuation and change).
