This "cross-digital ledger solution" was built with the help of institutional fintech firm HQLA-X and digital asset interoperability project Ownera. The announcement states that this tool allows repo traders to use JPMorgan Chase's dedicated blockchain deposit account on the Kinexys network to exchange cash held by JPMorgan Chase for securities on the HQLAx platform. This tool streamlines the entire repo transaction lifecycle, from execution to collateral management to settlement. Furthermore, the product utilizes Ownera's global router and open FinP2P protocol to connect market participants peer-to-peer.
