According to the latest amendment, CCCM's public shareholders will have the opportunity to share the appreciation of the company's holdings of Bitcoin. The revised agreement stipulates that if the price of Bitcoin is higher than the purchase price (US$104,343) at the time of the completion of the transaction, CCCM public shareholders who do not choose to redeem their shares will receive a 15% adjusted share distribution interest. Previously, this part of the rights was originally planned to be distributed to the only common shareholder of ProCap BTC. It is worth noting that ProCap BTC has previously raised US$750 million through preferred equity financing and purchased 4,950 bitcoins at an average price of US$104,343. As of July 27, the market value of these bitcoins has reached US$588.6 million, with a unit price of approximately US$118,900. The merged company will be renamed ProCap Financial, focusing on providing Bitcoin-related financial services to institutional investors.
