最新报道:According to Crypto in America, JPMorgan Chase has suspended and restarted its banking services for cryptocurrency exchange Gemini, as the two sides disagree on consumer data access rules. Gemini co-founder Tyler Winklevoss previously accused the bank of trying to "stifle fintech and cryptocurrency companies" by restricting third-party data interfaces such as Plaid. The focus of the dispute is that JPMorgan Chase plans to charge fintech companies high data access fees, which directly challenges the "Open Banking Regulations" issued by the U.S. Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) last year. The regulations are designed to protect consumers' rights to safely share bank data through tools such as cryptocurrency wallets, but are currently blocked by class action lawsuits initiated by banks and opposition from the Trump administration. Banks say data aggregators risk excessive data collection, while critics believe that this is just an excuse for traditional financial institutions to maintain their monopoly.
