币界网报道:BitVavo, a leading Dutch cryptocurrency exchange, has secured a provisional license under the EU's Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) regulation, positioning itself for expansion across the European Union. The approval allows BitVavo to operate in compliance with upcoming MiCA standards, which aim to harmonize crypto regulations across the bloc. The exchange plans to leverage this license to enhance its services and attract more institutional investors. BitVavo CEO Mark Nuvelstijn emphasized the importance of regulatory clarity for fostering trust and growth in the crypto sector. The MiCA framework, set to fully take effect in 2024, will require all crypto service providers in the EU to obtain similar licenses.
