币界网报道:Bitvavo, Europe's largest EUR spot exchange, has obtained a MiCA license from the Dutch Authority for the Financial Markets (AFM), joining Coinbase and Kraken as regulated platforms under the EU's crypto framework. The license allows Bitvavo to operate across all 27 EU member states. Chief Risk Officer Jeetan Patel praised the efficient collaboration with AFM during the approval process. CEO Mark Nuvelstijn emphasized the importance of consistent EU-wide regulation for a level playing field, stating the license positions Bitvavo to become Europe's leading digital asset platform. The Netherlands has also licensed MoonPay and three other crypto firms under MiCA, which became fully effective in late 2023. Gemini is reportedly nearing MiCA approval in Malta.
