币界网报道:Lido DAO has approved a dual governance system granting stETH holders veto power over controversial proposals, following a near-unanimous vote with 53.6M LDO tokens in favor. The new mechanism allows stakers to delay proposals by depositing 1% of staked ETH into escrow, with 10% triggering a complete freeze ("Rage-Quit" state). Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin endorsed the system as solving "important problems" by adding protection against harmful actions while recognizing stakers as stakeholders. The upgrade comes as Lido manages 25.7% of all staked ETH, with LDO's price rising 3.5% post-announcement. The vote will finalize on June 30 unless significant opposition emerges during the ongoing objection period.
