币界网报道:Galaxy Digital has unveiled a new $175 million venture fund dedicated to early-stage blockchain startups, marking its latest push into crypto investments. The fund, named Galaxy Ventures Fund I, will focus on seed and Series A rounds for companies building infrastructure, developer tools, and applications across Web3, decentralized finance (DeFi), and blockchain gaming. Mike Novogratz's firm plans to invest between $1 million and $10 million per startup, targeting firms with strong technical teams and scalable solutions. This move expands Galaxy's existing $1.5 billion investment portfolio in crypto, which includes positions in companies like Blockdaemon and Fireblocks. The launch comes amid a broader slowdown in crypto venture funding, with Galaxy positioning itself to capitalize on lower valuations. The firm's venture team will leverage Galaxy's trading, investment banking, and mining divisions to support portfolio companies.
