The plaintiff said he met a fake identity scammer through Facebook and was defrauded of his funds after investing in the NFT platform "OpenrarityPro". Citibank was accused of processing 12 suspicious transfers totaling approximately $4 million without identifying risk signals. The complaint alleges that the bank was seriously negligent in monitoring and review. The case has now been filed in the federal court in Manhattan, New York.
