The service, available via MoonPay's "Cash Pickup" feature, allows users to buy XRP and SOL without bank accounts or credit cards by generating a barcode for in-store payment. MoonPay CEO Ivan Soto-Wright highlighted the move as part of efforts to expand crypto accessibility, noting that 20% of U.S. adults remain unbanked. The integration follows MoonPay's recent addition of USDC support for cash purchases and marks a significant step in mainstream adoption for XRP and Solana, despite ongoing regulatory scrutiny of XRP. Circle K, operating in 48 states, will display crypto purchase instructions at participating stores.
